The Joseph Avenue Arts and Culture Alliance is pleased to announce the formation of a
FREE Family & Community Choir!
We would like to invite you and your family, friends, and children to join us as we come together in song this Fall - all are welcome! And YOU can help us spread the word that all are invited!
Join us each Saturday for rehearsal at 10:00 am in the Avenue D Rec Center (200 Avenue D). You can help invite others by directing them to this page at josephavearts.org/choir. Rehearsals will begin Saturday, October 19th at 10:00am in the Avenue D Rec Center and will continue on each Saturday this fall at the same time and place (no rehearsal Saturday, November 30th for Thanksgiving weekend) until a grand performance on December 14th, 2019.

What is a Community Choir? A Community Choir is a group of people who wish to come together and share their spirit in song. Why a Family Choir? Everybody defines family differently, but when people share a bond deeper than friendship, music can help strengthen it further. Can kids participate? Children SHOULD participate and are welcome to join their family in singing! Do I need to know how to sing? We have a brilliant director, wonderful pianist, and we all share the gift of finding joy in music - no one needs to know how to sing when they love to sing. Is it really free? YES! All Joseph Avenue Arts and Culture Alliance Programs and Events are free and open to anyone who wishes to join us.
