"Happy Holidays!" from the Northeast Family & Community Choir
David Pacific
Christina Bishop, Director
with the Pacific/George-Hinnant Piano Duo
Our holidays may be a little different this year, so now is the best time to share some cheer! Bring some joy home this season as the Northeast Family & Community Choir shares their heartwarming memories of holidays from yesteryear, singing solos and spreading plenty of good tidings that will warm us through even the coldest winter nights. With piano duos performed by our very own Executive Director, David J. Pacific, and Tasha N. George-Hinnant, Chair of New York Music Teachers' Association District 12, it's a celebration drawn from every corner of our region—and the festivities are made just for you!
The Northeast Family and Community Choir
began as a dream and has grown to be the first multigenerational community choir of its kind in the Northeast Quadrant of Rochester, NY. Membership is free for all to join and the choir welcomes all ages, all levels, and people from every corner of the city. With the support of friends, neighbors, teachers, parents, and the choir’s dedicated director, Christina Bishop, the Northeast Family and Community Choir marked its inaugural performance in the winter of 2018. Only three months later, the Choir was a featured guest ensemble with The Choir School of Delaware at Rochester City Hall. As the choir continues and looks forward to singing together in person again, they welcome all to join them.
