Alliance receives Strasenburgh Award for Activism

The Joseph Avenue Arts and Culture Alliance has been named the 2017 Recipient of the Betty Strasenburgh Award for Activism. This award, given annually by the Community Design Center of Rochester, honors our effort to convert a landmark building on Joseph Avenue into a Center for Performing and Visual Arts, the dance, music and theater programs we continue to develop for Rochester and underserved families and youth, and all those supporters who have helped us get to this day.
