Mayor Warren joins historic plaque unveiling

On June 21, 2017 Mayor Lovely Warren participated in a plaque unveiling ceremony -- our building at 692 Joseph Avenue has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places! Also gracing the podium: Isobel Goldman (Farash Foundation), Wayne Goodman (Landmark Society of Western New York), and Sherman Dickerson (Joseph Avenue Business Association). Featured the same evening on local television news, this important event concluded with a stirring performance by the Garth Fagan Youth Dance Ensemble, Yvana Melendez, and Bonnie Abrams.
